1. Introduction
The Manjai Sports Committee, representing the Manjai Sports Association, invites qualified investors to submit technical and financial proposals for the renovation of the Biri Biri Artificial Turf playing field at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai. The project aims to upgrade the playing surface, improve the drainage system, enhance surrounding facilities, integrate shops, and ensure sustainability.
2. Project Objectives
- Upgrade the Playing Surface: Replace the current artificial turf with high-quality, durable, and safe artificial turf to enhance player performance and reduce injury risks.
- Improve Drainage System: Install an advanced drainage system to ensure the field remains playable in all weather conditions.
- Enhance Facilities: Upgrade surrounding facilities including seating, lighting, accessibility features, and integrate retail shops to boost the local economy and enhance visitor experience.
- Sustainability: Implement eco-friendly practices and materials in the renovation process to ensure environmental sustainability.
3. Scope of Work
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
- Survey and Design: Conduct a detailed survey of the existing field and design the layout for the new artificial turf, drainage system, and integrated shops.
- Turf Installation: Procure and install high-quality artificial turf that meets international standards.
- Drainage System: Design and install an efficient drainage system to prevent waterlogging.
- Facility Upgrades: Upgrade surrounding facilities such as lighting, fencing, accessibility features, and integrate retail shops.
- Testing and Commissioning: Perform comprehensive testing of the new turf, drainage system, facilities, and shops to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
4. Financial Requirements
The proposal shall have the following financial breakdown:
- Survey and Design
- Turf Installation
- Drainage System
- Facility Upgrades
- Integration of Shops
- Testing and Commissioning
Investors must include proof of funds from a reputable financial institution, demonstrating the availability of funds for the project.
5. Proposal Requirements
Interested investors should submit a detailed proposal including the following:
- Technical Proposal:
- Approach and methodology for completing the project.
- Detailed project plan and timeline (12 months).
- Qualifications and experience of the project team.
- Previous relevant projects and references.
- Financial Proposal:
- Detailed cost breakdown.
- Proof of funds statement from a reputable financial institution.
- Proposed financial terms and investment structure.
- Contract Tenure:
- Suggested tenure based on the investment amount and projected return on investment.
- Initial proposal suggests a 5-year tenure, with rights to certain revenue streams generated by the upgraded facility and integrated shops.
